marvelous mediocrity

hi blog!
it is that time of year again. here we all are, in the last sprint towards the holidays, hoping to get everything done on time, wishing we had done everything earlier this year, like we wish every year.

i'm wondering where my sense of organization just whisked itself off to. i think it found someone to adopt it, because normally it would have come back by now. it might be gone FOREVER.

life has been streaming by us in minnesota, and i am, always always, trying to find ways to make it SLOW DOWN ALREADY. The long list of to dos keeps getting longer and the due dates recede farther and farther into the past. me and due dates are not getting along lately. i haven't been able to stop myself from giving them the finger and walking the other way instead of trying to work through our troubles.

so here's to happy holidays coming up! ima try to keep things sane. and we are newly addicted to "words" app on iphone, dear friends. please join us where we can obsessively play scrabble together for hours in order to give those deadlines the finger they deserve.
